Meet Dr. Muniswaran Letchumanan (Munis) our GP
MBBS (Monash), DipNtDt (ICI), Grad Cert in Medicine (GP & Primary Health Care) (USD), MPH (Monash), FRACGP, AICGM, AMA (M)
Dr. Munis, of South Indian ethnicity and originally from Malaysia, has resided in Australia for almost two decades. He obtained his MBBS from Monash University in 2009 and finished his clinical training in emergency and acute medicine at Goulburn Valley Health, Shepparton, Victoria. Due to his enthusiasm for general practice, he pursued and finished rural GP training in Shepparton and Kyabram, Victoria. He subsequently completed additional postgraduate coursework in primary care at the University of Sydney and earned a Master of Public Health from Monash University.
He is presently undertaking advanced training in First Nation Health under the RACGP Rural Faculty and pursuing postgraduate studies in AI in Medicine at the University of South Wales, UK. Dr. Munis is proficient in addressing a diverse range of medical ailments, encompassing chronic illness management, skin cancer treatment, Implanon insertion, medical termination of pregnancy, minor surgical interventions, and lifestyle medicine. In his leisure time, he engages in gardening.
