Sexual & Reproductive Heath
Information for Clients
Goondir recognises the importance of delivering culturally responsive sexual and reproductive health services to Clients. The program is open to both males and females looking for information regarding safe sex, treatment and/or advice on sexually transmitted infections and diseases, sexuality, contraception and more.
Practicing Safe Sex
Safe sex is about feeling safe with your partner, being in control of your situation and respecting yourself and your partner. The program supports education and awareness of safe sex practices.
What is a Sexual Health Check?
Most sexually transmissible infections (STI’s) and blood borne viruses (BBV’s) may show no symptoms, so a sexual health check is an easy way to test, treat and manage STI’s/ BBV’s.
The test may include urine and/ or blood test and can include an examination by your Doctor if you have symptoms such as pain when peeing. This also gives you a chance to ask questions about your sexual and reproductive health.
